Résumé
Mon domaine de recherche couvre les sciences de l'environnement. Je travaille actuellement sur plusieurs thématiques : Paléoclimatologie : Reconstructions des changements passés de la température de la surface de la terre à partir de données géothermales. La comparaison de Modèles de Circulation Générale avec les anomalies de température du sous-sol est un nouveau centre d'intérêt. Modélisation des échanges d'énergie a l'interface sol-air. Ce travail inclut les effets des variations de la couverture de neige et de la déforestation sur le régime thermique du sous-sol. La modélisation inclut également les aspect de la stabilité du permafrost. Ce domaine de recherche évoluer probablement vers la modélisation des processus affectant la surface du sol. Modélisation de la dynamique du carbone dans les premiers mètres des sols forestiers sous différentes conditions de gestion de la forêt. Site web : http://esrc.stfx.ca/

My research is in the area of Environmental Sciences. I am working in several areas at this time. Paleoclimatology: Reconstructions of past changes in the earth's surface temperature from geothermal data. A recent addition to my interests in this area is the comparison of General Circulation Model with the subsurface anomalies found in the subsurface. Modeling of energy exchanges at the air-ground interface. This work includes the effects of snow cover variations and deforestation on the thermal regime of the subsurface. The modeling also includes aspects of the stability of permafrost. This area will likely evolve into a land surface processes modeling component of my work. Modeling of the carbon dynamics on the first meter of forest soils under different management conditions
